Holy Mass for persecuted Christians at the Downtown Parish Church, where State Secretary, Mr. Tristan Azbej spoke, and some of the SCYP scholarship holders also bravely stood up to testify and share their lives and experiences of persecution.
Celebrating the end of the exam period, our ESC volunteers visited the Lumina Park and Body Wolrd exhibitions with some of our scholarship holders. During the programmes they were able to learn about the world and the human body from a new perspective.
Asad Rahji, one of the scholarship holders of the Scholarship Programme of Christian Young People won the first place in the “A Sea of Words” award from the „European Institute of the Mediterranean” in Barcelona for his short story “Stories Seeking Shelters”. We visited one of the concerts of the Five Churches Advent Festival in Győr, where the 30-year-old Ukrainian Pikkardiyska Tertsiya and the 20-year-old Hungarian Saint Ephramm Male Choir performed traditional Christmas carols and chants together with some internationally well-known songs.
In the end of October a study trip took place in Romania for students of PPKE Armenian Studies Department in frames of the Hungary Helps Programme. During this one-week trip students travelled to major Armenian settlements of Transylvania and Bukovina.

The scholarship holders attended a day of the Five Churches Festival in Győr on May 16, 2022. They toured churches of various religions in the early afternoon and guided about their histories. The Barcelona Gypsy Balkan Orchestra performed to crown the evening.
