Light and water for students - school development in Rwanda
Sub-Saharan Africa is an increasingly important region for the Hungary Helps Program. Education and training are key to building the future of local generations. A small budget project supported by Hungary Helps installed hand-washing facilities in a local school in Nyanza, Rundai, along with hygiene education and provided flashlights for children to use at school, making it safer for them to return home from school and study at home. The project has helped more than 1,000 students and teachers in church and state schools.
