Establishment of a Young Mothers' Center in Uganda

The project supported by the Hungary Helps Program aims to establish a new educational and vocational training center for young mothers in the Nambale community in eastern Uganda. In addition to providing training in various professions (tailoring, hairdressing, handicrafts), the center will also offer hygiene and basic health education tailored to the needs of young mothers, as well as care for infants and young children, and IT skills. Initially, the center will directly assist 150 young mothers and indirectly support their children and families (1,000-1,500 individuals). By increasing the employment opportunities for young mothers, poverty can be mitigated.
