Center for Development and Democracy - Renovation of a women's centre in Gori

We also helped to build and equip a women's centre in Gori, run by the Orthodox Church of Georgia. The centre provides safe accommodation for women and girls who are at risk of violence or who have been victims of violence. The time they spend here and the care they receive enables women and their children who have been abused to recover, rebuild their self-esteem and regain their self-determination and ability to live independently. The donation will support the construction, renovation and furnishing of the centre.
