To build a sustainable global future, investing in education and youth is essential. Education is a cornerstone of international development and humanitarian efforts, forming a key pillar of our Program. It fosters empowerment and autonomy, equipping individuals with knowledge and skills to contribute to resilient communities. For young people, education, technical, and vocational training offer pathways to a better future, reducing aid dependency and addressing poverty's root causes.
Our initiatives often target countries with significant youth populations, where quality education is crucial for peace and social stability. This is particularly relevant in sub-Saharan Africa and the conflict-affected regions of the Middle East. With Africa's rapidly growing youth demographic and the Middle East's large youth population, there is a pressing need for enhanced education and vocational training, which promotes market access and rights.
Therefore, the Hungary Helps Program supports building and modernizing schools, vocational training centers, and counseling facilities, and contributes to educational programs through financial support and knowledge transfer.
In recent years, we have engaged in 110+ educational projects, with several flagship initiatives highlighting the critical role of education.
