Support for victims of the border conflict between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan

In September 2022, fighting resumed on the disputed border between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan resumed. The conflict in Batken has claimed many lives and forced nearly 20,000 people to flee the region. Hungary then offered its assistance to the internally displaced persons, for which the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic expressed its gratitude. The Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic coordinated the humanitarian assistance. The aid has been used to provide shelter, generators, winter clothing and hygiene items.
