During his official visit to Kenya, House President László Kövér was received by Head of State William Ruto. During his stay in Kenya, the National Assembly President visited the modern training centre for young people in the Kangemi slum, which was set up under the Hungary Helps Programme, where the modern professional training centre, built and run with Hungarian funding, provides local young people with new classrooms and workshops to learn key skills.
László Kövér also attended the opening of the University of Óbuda’s office in Kenya, which aims to ensure that the knowledge acquired by Kenyan students in Hungary is put to use in the labour market as soon as possible.
