Fifty of the scholarship holders of the Scholarship Programme for Christian Young People program participated in the International Eucharistic Congress held in Budapest from 5 to 12 September. The scholarship holders attended the Family Day on the Margit sziget on Saturday, the Mass and the procession to the Heroes’ Square, however the entire weekend was crowned with the closing Mass on Sunday celebrated by Pope Francis. The scholars were also able to meet with State Secretary Azbej Tristan after the Mass, after which the students expressed their joy to be able to experience the Eucharist together.
